Share a friend Friday

I have a friend I want to share with you today. In fact, she’s such a good friend I’m going to let you borrow her. Her name is Irene. My kids call her Aunt Irene. She also goes by the name Rivkah (neat, huh?). Irene is one of the friends I have known the longest and is one of my dearest friends. You are going to enjoy having her for a friend as much as I have. Here are her qualifications:

She’s smart (like 2 master’s degrees smart)
She likes to laugh (can’t hurt to have someone around who laughs are your stuff)
She’s supportive (no matter what kind of stupid idea you can come up with, she’ll help you find a way to make it work).
She’s a reader (we used to spend hours reading and having coffee at Barnes n Noble)
She likes kids (including mine. Always a plus).
She likes to teach you what she’s learned (from cooking to Hebrew to anything).
She’s extremely generous (time, money, affection).
She’s lived overseas (can share interesting stories)
She’s a listener (she’s been through a lot so she knows the importance of listening)
She’s open minded (does this need explanation?)

So tell me about the friend you want to share with me but remember it has to be as good as the one I’m giving you. Cuz she’s a keeper!
