what’s in a week

so it’s been a week since my post op appointment. i am officially allowed to drive. dont tell my gyn but i drove yesterday (monday) for the first time. drove the boy to band practice at 9am and it felt GREAT!! it felt like i was rejoining the human race! later that day we went used car shopping and i walked around a little. it felt great to be outside in the fresh air. i didnt test drive the cars, just to be safe, but i enjoyed the day immensely!

that was yesterday, i think. today, tuesday i’ve had to slow waaaaaaay down. not sure if i overdid it yesterday (probably) or if you have good days and bad days, but today i’ve spent most of the day in bed. picked the boy up from band practice today at 3pm and again it felt nice to be outside, however i’m not feeling quite myself.

i slept in today (approx 8:15am) and even then i dozed off and on for the rest of the morning. i did take breakfast downstairs with pumpkin at 9am but by 9:30 i was back up stairs dozing. i finally got dressed and came downstairs for lunch around 1:30pm.

I’ve been laying (lying) around most of the day. not sure what’s up, although I DID get to have some wine tonight with dinner! unfortunately, though, i wont be able to take a percoset, although i might be able to handle a motrin. we’ll see.

Regarding Queen of Everything

Her highness is an educator librarian who is drawn to the little ones. In her purse you’ll find a cup of coffee, a book, and her iPhone. She loves social media, writing book reviews, and curating children’s literature. She is an information specialist, maven, connector. and still queen of planet blortnick
