Here’s what I think I did right at the hospital:
-i took my ipod (invaluable with the sanity)
-asked for an ice pack
-took my cell phone (although mom would say that’s a no no), allowing me to text and connect with the kiddos
-took my meds
-had a tummy pillow in the car for the ride home
-had a pair of very comfy and big sweats for the ride home
-brought a hat because of inclement weather
-had a small tube of my own hand lotion
-panties
Here’s what I didnt need at the hospital:
-a book (harry potter is waaaay to heavy to hold and to read)
-a magazine (felt stupid looking through the shallow ads)
-my own night gown or robe (the place was suitably warm)
-breath mints
-eye patch
-gas-x or any of my own meds (the hospital orders it and dispenses)
-deodorant or any toiletries other than toothbrush/paste
